I have always been super interested in a holistic approach to medicine. I truly believe that we can heal our bodies and prevent just about everything with an organic, balanced diet. But, I also believe in balance. Its okay to celebrate once in a while, with a massive bowl of chips and salsa, or a cookie here and there. We sometimes need these things to feel human!
I just recently started reading a book called Fix Your Mood with Food, by Heather Lounsburg. The book talks tons about how important it is to nourish our bodies with proper nutrition, for in return, the quality of our physical and emotional lives will improve greatly.
